Our team of dedicated Occupational therapists strives to provide each child with the opportunity to develop the skills that they need to thrive. It’s a privilege to be able to serve children and their families and we believe that a team approach is the best way to provide children with the support that they need.

When would my Child Benefit from Occupational Therapy?
Occupational Therapy can assist children who are experiencing difficulties in any of the following areas: Difficulties with Daily tasks such as eating, sleeping, dressing, and toileting
School Related Difficulties
- Fine motor difficulties: pencil grip, pre-writing skills, handwriting, cutting, colouring, drawing etc
- Gross motor difficulties: poor posture at the desk, difficulties engaging in gross motor play at school
- Attention and concentration difficulties
- Poor work speed and organisational skills
- Establishing hand dominance
- Basic concept difficulties : Letters, numbers and shapes
- Visual perceptual difficulties
Sensory Processing Difficulties
- Poor emotional regulation
- Sensitivity and avoidance of certain sensory experiences at home/school
- Poor body awareness
- Difficulty learning new movements (gross motor and refined movements)
- Difficulty participating in sports/extra mural activities
Social Interaction / Play Difficulties
- Difficulty making and maintaining friendships
